Prepares Stripped A-R Coated Lenses for Re-Coating. Removes and Neutralizes all acid Residues. Prevents out gassing and delamination of re-coating

This product was designed to prevent the lifting and peeling of hard coats and anti-reflex coatings from lenses after stripping of their coating layers. Acids, solvents or both do the stripping action. Acids trapped in lens pores will start to out gass with the heat created during coating process, the applied coating will then not adhere properly or will delaminate at a later date. Therefore it is important to eliminate these residues. OPL-K will effectively neutralize these chemicals.

How to Treat a Lens

Pour liquid in plastic container with snap-on lid. Place stripped lenses for 10 minutes in liquid. Then remove lenses and rinse under water. They are now ready for further processing.

There is no shelf life to this product, it can be used until no more effective

 

Caution

This product does not have any immediate effect on body contacts, it is always advisable to use protection when handling chemicals. Gloves glasses and clothing. Msds sheets available for users.

 

Disposal

As all other chemical products, used chemicals should be discarded according to municipal, state/province or federal laws.
